Chhurikala has very few hospitals. Although Chhurikala happens to be relatively small town, but such minimal infrastructure is still not good enough to effectively fulfill its healthcare demands. Therefore every year significant number of Chhurikala’s patients have to unwillingly flock to neighboring towns like Korba, Katghora and other adjoining towns for medical treatment.

Just like all other small rural towns, even Chhurikala or Chhuri town suffers from inefficient or lack of transportation services. The town has only few auto rickshaws to cater to its day to day local commuters. Obviously and expectedly there are no city bus services or cab services in this entire town. As for connectivity goes, then state run buses do ply from this town, but there is no railway station in this town. The nearest Railway Station are Korba Railway Station and Champa Railway Station. Everyday hordes of commuters from Chhuri town flock to these railway stations for traveling to other parts of Chhattisgarh state.

Despite the fact that there is no police station in the town, local people here feel very safe and secure. That’s apparently because this town has no law and order problem as such. However, if needed local people here can always file complaints in local police station at neighboring town of Katghora. Katghora Police Station is actually nearest police station to this small town and is therefore solely responsible for taking care of law and order of this small town. However, going by immensely stable law and order of this town, Katghora Police Station hardly has to do much to keep law and order in control.
